We built Confetto to throw confetti, not to learn anything about you. There is no account to create, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party services of any kind.
Your confetti presets, keyboard shortcuts, schedules, and preferences are stored locally on your device using the standard macOS preferences system. We never see them, and they are never transmitted anywhere.
Confetto is distributed through the Mac App Store and runs inside Apple's App Sandbox. It requests no special permissions or entitlements beyond the sandbox itself. The confetti you see is drawn on a transparent, click-through overlay window; it captures no input and no screen content.
Confetto is suitable for all ages and, because it collects nothing at all, it collects nothing from children either.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Since the app collects no data, we do not anticipate meaningful changes.
